lately i've been listening to a lot by "lights," a musican from canada. she's pretty much like vanessa carlton + owl city + aly & aj. a lot of her songs have been featured in commercials, so a bunch of them are very recognizable!
i'm really excited for spring break! i feel like i have two spring breaks, since angela has one the week after next, then mine is two weeks after that one! can't wait! ever since the summer before 10th grade, my best friend angela and i have made a list of all of the things we want to do in the time period where we have summer/winter break/spring break/thanksgiving weekend, etc. its our little tradition, and this spring break is no different! some of the things we are excited to do are:
-ice skating!
-working on our scrapbook of the two of us
-shooby-doobying (i took angela for her first trip to ruby's during last winter break, and she was so enthralled by their slogan, "shooby dooby down to ruby's, she only refers to it now as a verb to eat there, and that verb is "shooby-doobying.")
-working on our letters! (my sorority sister, monica, has a best friend that is alpha phi, and they got matching fabric for their letters, and on the back of their sweaters, it says "my best friend is a phi sig, and my best friend is an a phi- they are SO CUTE! so we are copying them.)
two of my favorite things, making lists and spending time with my best friend, combined into one! excellent! :) can't wait!
