spring breaaaakkk!!!! ahh it feels SO GOOD. it's like a little taste of summer, a teaser, if you will. i've have a FANTASTIC spring break so far, and i can't wait for more!
saturday:
BAMFREAKINBOOZLE!!! it's a music festival every year in irvine, ca, and it was me, katie, and alexis's first time there- and it DID NOT disappoint. i don't know if every concert just seems to transcend the awesomeness of the previous, but this seriously was like, the funnest day everrr!! i'm posting flickr pics for the bamboozle blog, so check for more posts! we got to see the cab (one of our faves), forever the sickest kids (so fun & energetic), mercy mercedes (future fave- i just know it!), we the kings (check yes juliet! heck yes!), cobra starship(i'm obsessed. it's quite unhealthy.), and FALL OUT BOY! yeahh! we were there from about 1:40pm- 11:30pm roughly, and it was SUCH a magical day! we were all super depressed the day after, when our lives weren't nearly as fun & exciting as they were on that saturday :)
sunday:
woke up around ten, and went to the oc swapmeet with my mom- got 2 pairs of sunglasses for $10 (woo!) and some teriyaki beef jerky & squaw bread- NOM;) after that, my mom & i went to the brunch at alcapulco restaurant- DOUBLE NOM! i wore my cab shirt i bought at the concert, and was keeping the joy alive from the AMAZING concert the day before! after that, i went to the park with my grandparents to take pictures, then we went to ruta's in tustin, because it was the only ruta's that was open, and i wanted them to experience the delicioso-ness that is ruta's! haha :)
monday:
woke up around 12:35, and went for a midday bike ride, then popped my bathing suit on, and tanned on my trampoline for about an hour. after that, i went to work! "the house" was weird today, because the hosts have started to use walkie-talkies with headsets to talk to one another- weird.
tuesday:
went to work in hollywood backlot today! was a relatively chill day, but i still haven't regained my voice back from the epic concert on saturday, but it's soo worth it :)
my spring break has been going fabu so far, and i can't wait for the rest of the week! hangouts with jackie & ashley tomorrow, work & helping a.thompson get donations for PHI SET SPIKE- our sorority philanthropy on thursday- then hanging out with alexis & katie on friday, and a yogurt chat sesh with meaghan on saturday night! can it be spring break forever, please? shanell comes home in ONE WEEK FROM TOMORROW!!! BLAHHHHH!!!
i'm so happy with life right now i can't even stand it ;)
