first off- the photo of my culinary creation as i promised-

ina garten is pretty much my food network hero. her lobster pot pie and triple chocolate hazelnut gelato almost brought tears to my eyes, and made me wish that her and her husband, the always endearing jeffrey, would adopt a 19 year old college student from orange county, aka me.
okay enough of my daily obsession of food- i spent the last 2 days hanging out with various friends, and eating at various places- i am crying inside since my body is used to one meal a day since i usually wake up at 1pm and just eat lunch and a snack, i am afraid what the scale says- and it's quite fun to talk about the future and what's going on in our lives, and all the things we are looking forward to, and how our hopes and ideas for the next year are SO different from a year ago, when college was a gray cloud in our near future, so uncertain and exciting. now that we know a little more of what to expect, it's easier to imagine and predict things, which almost makes the future a little bit more exciting.

RED. VELVET. CHEESECAKE. (sorry scale)
so i'm way excited for tomorrow- shanell and i are going to be hollywood tourists, along with one of her friends from tokyo! it's gonna be great seeing that city through the eyes of someone from the other side of the world- can't wait!
xoxo
